What is Snap Vault?
Snap Vault (also called Item Share) allows you to temporarily share individual vault items with other devices on your local network. The shared item is transmitted directly between devices and automatically expires after a set time period.
Key Features
- Temporary Sharing: Items automatically expire after a set time (default: 5 minutes)
- Direct Transfer: Data is sent directly between devices, not through external servers
- QR Code Option: Share items using QR codes for quick transfer
- One-Time Use: Items are typically deleted after being accepted or after expiration
