What is the 6-Digit Verification Code?
The 6-digit verification code is a one-time code generated by scanning a QR code from our website using the Oculock™ mobile app. This code proves you are an authorized user and unlocks the desktop download.
Why Verification?
This verification process ensures that desktop apps are only downloaded by users who already have Oculock™ installed on their mobile device, maintaining the security of the distribution process.
How to Download Desktop Apps
Step 1: Go to the Downloads Page
Visit oculock.com/downloads on your computer and select your platform (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
Step 2: Scan the QR Code
- Open the Oculock™ app on your phone
- Go to Settings
- Tap Verify Desktop Download
- Point your camera at the QR code displayed on the website
Step 3: Get Your Verification Code
After scanning the QR code, your mobile app will display a 6-character verification code. This code is unique to your session and will expire after a short time.
Step 4: Enter the Code on the Website
- Enter the 6-character code in the verification field on the website
- Click Verify Code
- Your download will start automatically once verified
Troubleshooting
Code Not Working?
- Code expired: Verification codes expire after a few minutes. Generate a new code by scanning the QR code again.
- Typo: Make sure you entered all 6 characters correctly. The code is case-sensitive.
- Session mismatch: Make sure you're entering the code on the same page where you scanned the QR code. Don't refresh the page.
Can't Scan the QR Code?
- Make sure you have good lighting on your screen
- Hold your phone steady and at the right distance
- Ensure camera permissions are enabled for the Oculock™ app
- Try cleaning your phone's camera lens
